We are sad to inform you that the Penpals site will be stopping at the end of this week. Unfortunately, finding suitable software to run the free service is an expensive exercise for New Zealand’s Information Network, this combined with the never-ending robot spam, is just giving the Penpals site a bad name.
People are writing to us demanding to know why we are permitting sexual spam to be posted within the site, unfortunately this has been out of our hands.
If you would like to continue keeping in touch with people you have met on Penpals, we suggest you sign up and become a member (Register) of the Message Board at New Zealand’s Information Network, where you can in the General Area.
